I am studying Physics at the Leiden University and part of the education is an introduction course to python. Luckily following class is not obligated... It's super boring...

    "Leiden" is german for "suffering". If all suffering is made out of boredom, congratulations to you 😁

    @CWins in Dutch it is to lead, written with an ij instead of ei it is to suffer.

    In English it sounds like lie den or a den of lies. They really should rethink their name.

    It's the name of the town, guess they won't change that 😂

    You are lucky that the subject is not obligatory for you, because at my university you can't modify your program very much.
    By the way, it's been 4 years and I'm interested in how you graduated and what you're doing now.

    @georgeburkitt
    I am also interested in listening to the author in as many years as many events could have happened during this period! I remembered my obligated subjects, which infuriated me a lot, but I had to do them so as not to lose points. It was until the end of school that I found https://edubirdie.com/blog/... and was relieved to do biology or other subjects that didn't interest me much. I continued to use this site after school and it made my studies much easier afterwards. I almost didn't spend time on tasks that interested me a little, but focused more on the things I liked, thanks to such a site.

    @georgeburkitt the course was obligated, just following the lecture itself wasn’t hahaha. Now I’m doing my master in physics. And published my first paper as a second author. If everything goes to plan, I will be graduating next summer.
