Do you ever forget to commit something at home and then rewrite the entire change on the go, purely because you lack the patience?

I just did, and writing code with full knowledge of the bugs and quirks you had to hammer out before feels so sweet

It's great to be able to code everything at once without any questions or insecurities

Nah it mainly feels wasteful when I do it as all the fun bits are done now

Code is usually better the second time you write it.

(At least if there's any kind of problem solving. But if its just mindless copy paste grunt work I tend to get sloppy and forget. "Didn't I change this file already?")
