What do you guys hope most for in the Tuesday iPhone event, and why is it HDR display?

@Jop- Technically, Unicode defines that character as a 'pistol' so the revolvers in Windows and Android are inaccurate as well. But anyway that's just the representation of the character, it's a stretch calling it content replacement.

@Jop- I never talked about what's interchangeable or not, or whether the meaning they convey is similar, so no need to assert my psychological state. If you want to talk about interchangeability then no, you're not right. Pistol, revolver and water gun are not interchangeable between each other but that's not the point. The point, as @Jonnyforgotten explained, is that it's not content replacement but the way the OS is displaying that Unicode character and strictly speaking none of the OSes in the examples you provided are correctly displaying it.

Why did Apple decided to represent the pistol with a water pistol in iOS10 I don't know and I really don't care since I'm not using that OS nor do I send emojis. I never said it's right or wrong.

@Jop- I'm more concerned about the reverse scenario, imagine you need someone to bring a gun and he comes in with a squirt gun :)

To bring the thread back on it's tracks, i would like to finally see all those icons some idiot made (stuff like Mail, Weather, etc) redesigned properly.
