My pc suddenly restarted. And i found that my hdd is broke while all uncommited project still there. I spent 3 hours to fix it. And its still not working.

I hope i can get my project back. Also my games :(

@tracktraps i usually do commit a lot and push it once a day. But it happen before i push. I hope this was a dream

Look into sleuth kit if you have a spare PC and no encryption on the disc you might be able to pull the source folder off of it

@gitinit Murphy's law. That's why I make an incremental backup (borgbackup) every 60 minutes and synchronize it with various clouds storages, to an SD card and the second HDD in the laptop.

A simple bash-script, a systemd-timer and I don't have to worry about anything.

No Backup, No Mercy :/
