Makes me want to crash!

    It says "Press any key to continue" at the bottom. Too bad it's probably not a touch screen.

    @tracktraps Tapping that screen would probably throw an exception, "You have performed an illegal action."

    @tracktraps Looks like 3D touch to me

    Could we maybe not have this sort of objectifying bullshit here?
  • 0
    @tracktraps ...And what if you needed to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete? Ooops! |-D

    @Zaphod65 Who is objectifying whom?
  • 0
    @TerriToniAX don't be obtuse, you know exactly who's being objectified.
  • 3
    @Zaphod65 Yes, but by whom? Yep, by themselves. What kind of reaction do you expect when wearing a shirt like that? "Oh no, don't read the text on my rack! You're objectifying me!". Sure, you have the right to stand the moral high ground and show everyone how very PC you are. But, unless you're a moderator, you have no right to tell others what to post or not to post.

    @TerriToniAX Maybe originally, although I have thoughts about that as well, although that is another discussion for another thread.

    BUT I supremely doubt that OP is the originator of the image, which makes the fact that it's being posted here, completely unsourced, all the worse.

    More to the point: what does this post say to the female members of the community? Is this the message we want to send them? Really?

    I know how I would feel if the tables were turned, and I wouldn't have any desire to come back to a community that treats people like this.

    @Zaphod65 P.S. Would you react differently if that rack belonged to a bloke? From this photo you can't really tell the gender of the person wearing the shirt. For all I know, it might be one with a joystick down there.

    @Zaphod65 I too know how I would feel if the tables were turned, e.g. a female ranter posting a photo of a huge package in underwear with a blue screen saying "Pull the lever to continue". I would have a good laugh! :D

    Is it Jeff's wife again? No? Okay.

    @Zaphod65 I can totally understand your opinion, but I believe that the female members have no problem with that. No one was insulted or portrayed as sex object.

    The woman in the picture is deliberately wearing this T-shirt, which is just unusual and funny, because it's not so common to wear a bluescreen and you automatically look at it. It is unavoidable that her breasts are there.

    And as a man it is quite natural to look there - and as a developer (bluescreen) even more so.

    @tracktraps Well spoken :)

    BTW, my gf has a really eye-catching t-shirt saying "I'm a woman. What's your super POWER?" She bought it herself and she's wearing it deliberately well aware of what kind of reactions it might evoke :)
