Please allow me to share my thoughts since I can't totally outrage my frustration because we have this so-called fasting to control our anger towards a person we currently disagree with.

A letter from your loving, sincere, pretty and gorgeous working partner to my young, chubby, smart and clever colleague:

Please do cooperate in times of live editing from the FTP since CTO is not and will never be going to appreciate version control since CTO is too tired for giving a shit and just want deliverables be delivered as fuck perfectly regardless of the resources that we have.

As you know, I tolerated you for not getting the freedom of live editing as what you've experienced from your previous team lead. All I ask of you is to get fresh file from FTP whenever we touch the same file because firstly, God knows how frustrating it is how your hard work is going to be replaced and be gone as much as I do. Secondly, I don't want you to experience how pain in the ass could this be in the long run, and lastly, I don't want any hard feelings to be wasted just because of this.

P.S. I'm too shy to send this to you because I don't want to hurt your feelings and don't want to sound too seriouz and feel old. I also hope we share the same telepathic understanding so we can agree with each other.

    Just go tell your colleague, no need to be shy ...
    better having a sad colleague than a mess to fix late at night due to live editing

    He needs to hear this from you. Don't worry about your feelings getting hurt. This is good communication and if it is tough to say try emailing or texting him. You'll feel better when he starts following procedures and everyone doesn't have to worry about getting overwritten.

    @gitpush right. I think he already got my point now. Observing him lately, everytime he saves file he always asks if I edit the same file as his. This is so embarassing.

    @coffeeneia Great and no it is not embarrassing it will be wrong if you didn't make it clear to him, its like seeing your colleague wrong and keeping him wrong, I think this is worse

    Theres plugins that diff the opened ftp files and warn and show the changes, its like a budget git. I don't get why you would use ftp only anyway, if you have to, then atleast add dropbox as the middleman to save all changes and if shit happens to be overwritten do a manual diff.

    Or best of all just setup your own git and work together on it, I might be missing something but why would it matter what tools you use, if no additiomal company resources need to be reserved or used.

    I don't want to sound creepy but your shyness is at anime caracter level shyness. Add that you are sincere and possibly gorgeous and BAM! You are an anime girl.

    PS: after reading this a third time... fuck. Being sleepy makes me really creepy. But meh, moral of your story is to be sincere so...

    @coffeeneia he's not worthy of working with someone so loving, sincere, pretty, and gorgeous, so tell him to get his shit together.

    I've never heard of anger fasting, but it sounds horrifying.

    @MissDirection @coffeeneia I'm curious. Is it fasting as in no eating or anger fasting as some analogy of retaining the need of expressing anger?

    @coffeeneia I would send it. It's not going to magically get better, and you're simply asking for what you need so you can do your job.

    He's theoretically a grown ass adult. If polite honesty hurts his feelings, that's on him and not you, at all. ❤

    @JoshBent gah! I would do that instead in my own projects. Deym CTO will never be as open minded as you, but thanks! Still waiting when he will accidentally hit his head so yeah.. So excited when to start anew. LOL!

    @MissDirection hahaha, you made me laugh. Thanks, sis! Horrifying as it sounds, though, as you control your anger you made a lot of fun into it. Like sarcasm and puns. Haha!

    @QueenMorgana he's really been doing great lately but I really hate it when he is too lazy to finish the task immediately when he's just video streaming all day.

    @234pctCpuUsage i worry about that too. But, let's hope not. Maybe I can't really say that to him directly because he's too fluffy.

    @coffeeneia I'm not watching any anime atm, the closest I've watched is avatar: the legend of aang, which I finished last week. I've been following a manwa (korean manga) called Tower of God for quite some time and it has never let me down. I really want to keep watching the monogatari series but right now between programming and uni and family, my energies get quite wasted and I really want to watch it with my fulls senses since it is such a masterpiece and complex anime. That's all. How about you?
