I’m not sure if I like my software development teacher using my code for examples to show the other students. Sometimes I get the “oh that’s nice” and other times I get the death stare”🤔

The more people criticise your code, better for your development

Yeah, it's a good thing, regardless of the quality (or not) of your code. You will have to deal with it in professional settings too, and it's not any more pleasant. Except in class you don't have to worry about performance reviews.
