There's a lot of different tips for a secure password out there. Which rules do you apply?

    $password = $(date | base64 | sha512sum)

    LENGTH.

Length > entropy > arbitrary complexity rules

I usually just go with whatever everyone else is doing.

-nothing in relation to your personal life
-nothing in relation to any lyrics you know or whatsoever
    -using passphrases
-creating way too fucking long passphrases

    1. Do the tell the rules of your password, reverse engineering can be made easier if a bad person know them.

combine at least two "strings" and ask yourself if anyone else has that password or could guess it if they'd know you.

    Oh and spelling mistakes xD

A word... Change one letter so won't show on dictionary, add a few numbers.. (ex: admyn255)

No one can guess your passwords if you don't use the internet.

Just use one typewriter to write PR diffs on paper, and send them by courier in dyepack protected vaults.

Oh shit, you'd still need a code for the vault...

Unless you use physical steel keys... you could exchange the keys once in person... but how to invalidate them if one gets lost...

    Fuck. Security is hard.
