what do you guys think of rating your skills in cv as a graph?
like sql - 7.5 etc...?

i've just tried it and sent my resume to a couple employers but i'm not getting the usual response (more activity).

i also did a very honest review of my skills (according to 3 senior colleagues), so maybe the scores seem too low? how would you react if you saw someone with rather low scores? i'm asking this because developers and mortals probably view these scores very differently. Maybe some suggestions?

depends on the position you are applying to, I'd be ok with zero skills for junior IF he was willing to learn and try his best on his own, other than that I have no time to teach neither do others, I get shitload of tasks and I sometimes have to work in parallel on iOS and Android apps of the same project and sometimes with multiple projects.

ought to be easier to understand what i'm talking about with an image. What do you think?

also, i have exactly 2 years of experience

@Anookas it is good to have that chart but better have sometime for prototype or demo of your skills I think it gives a great boost

@Anookas thats a bit skewed imo, i would put solid basics around 1-3, expertise using the tech at 4-6, at 7-8 i would expect you to be able to make small but meaningful contributions to the development of the tech, anything above that and i'd assume you built the tech yourself or that you're overestimating your abilities.
