I know this is devRant but this is the one place I can release and no one judges what I say. It's nice.
-
@moortuvivens I'd never expect 2 people our ages to be like kids together like we are.
-
moort43407y@DucksCanCode i kind of know the feeling.
There is this 28 woman (I'm 24) she's hot and single and I could probably get a relation with her. But I just don't see that work out.
Personally I'm not a one night stand guy, so that is out for me as well.
She wants children, she already has a 1000 pictures with her baby nephews, but I don't want those for another 4 years or longer.
It all depends on what stage of life you both live in and will transition to.
The older you get the less age seems to matter since most people are in the same stage then. -
@moortuvivens great thing is, she doesn't want kids because she's already got one in the form of a huge Alsatian crossed with Alaskan Malamute, he's 5 months old but he's like an adult Alsatian. He's a big fluffy baby and we just sit there with him across our legs and watch TV...
-
@moortuvivens and just be there for her, she'll appreciate it and hopefully she'll just start trusting you as a friend. That's what I'm doing, and we've both got huge trust issues.
-
moort43407y@DucksCanCode we are already friends. we also flirt a little.
I already have someone I love. Although where that is going is a whole other story. -
@gitpush I know exactly what you mean, she's got a lot more life experience but under it all she's sweet and gentle, but I mean we just spend whole nights together wetting ourselves laughing over the strangest shit. My head was hurting after laughing so much, I've not felt that happy in a long time
-
@CodeKek no offence, but that would ruin it. It's just like that rn, and what is the point in that? I'd rather date her than that.
-
@DucksCanCode Sorry removed my comment was afraid it gets wrongly understood
Well I do understand your point, being all lost and confused :/ -
@gitpush I also don't know where this is going to go and it's bloody exciting, but at the same time I don't want to set myself up for failure again...
-
moort43407y@DucksCanCode you can't protect yourself from it either.
Failure comes after taking a chance.
If you don't take a chance then you'll never get what you want.
If it fails it will hurt, probably a lot. (Trust me I'm in the middle of something)
But when you are hurt and broken, then you have the chance to make great growth.
So the next time you take a chance, you have more chance of succeeding.
Don't be scared of losing something you don't even have. Be happy that you might gain something you didn't have. -
@moortuvivens I know where you're coming from and I'm sorry to hear it in the middle of that. What I meant is I don't want to lose this friendship if I take a chance and it makes her wary... You know... I can't really explain better than that
-
moort43407y@DucksCanCode
Currently my relationship is in limbo, not together not apart. But I told her one thing explicitly, I want her in my life doesn't matter if it's as partner or as friend.
you tell her the same. That you like her and You want her in your life forever, either way.
It's doubtful that she will make the first move because she might be afraid that you don't want it because of her kid
Although I might need a girl to confirm this. -
@moortuvivens no she's not actually got a kid (I would still want to be with her even if she did), but she's got a huge fluffy Alsatian that's fully grown but is actually 5 months old. He's a big loud fluffy baby and he's like another part in this confusing... Thing xD
-
@moortuvivens and thanks for the advice man, hope you get your relationship in order, chin up brother
-
@demiko that's the thing, we're not sexual, we're just really close right now. Tmi I know, but I'm really really nervous about it... :/
-
The only "problem" I see in this situation is that she lives right next to you. Would you feel awkward seeing her everyday if things didn't work out? But if you feel that she is truly special then it's worth a try. About the age gap, if she acts younger than her age she is probably into younger guys. But at this age it might be possible that she views you as a friend/young brother.
-
@jsframework9000 I wouldn't feel awkward personally, I'd want to stay friends if things don't work out. And that's what I'm worried about, the younger brother dynamic. And she doesn't always act like that, I've only seen her like that with me. But fuck it, you have your life then you die so I may as well right?
-
@demiko because I don't want to ask her out and ruin our friendship if she doesn't see me like that. This is the strangest friendship I've ever had, it makes me feel like my stomachs doing barrel rolls when we're together... It's fucking freaky bro
-
@DucksCanCode Are you sure you can just be friends with her? What if she met another guy tommorrow, would you be jealous? Your safest bet is to let her make the first move.
-
@demiko I don't want to seem sappy but I want to roll a spliff cuddle on the sofa and watch TV with her fluffy bear of a dog lying across us while we smoke and chat. That's all I want now, just to be happy and chill with her.
-
@jsframework9000 I'd be happy because she feels she's found someone she can trust and be peaceful with. I'd be jealous of him but I wouldn't let that effect us as friends
-
@jsframework9000 UnhandledException: FeelingsOverflowException was thrown on Line 1
-
@demiko oh right xD. Nothing is preventing it but I just want to be with her, you know... I can't explain it, it's making my head hurt.
-
@SSDD so you link to a meme that has nothing to do with this because she's single and the friendzone doesn't even exist because you're either a friend or boyfriend, so if you're 'friendzoned' that just means you're a friend. I hate memes too.
-
@demiko that's not the problem, I don't know if she wants me the same way and I have anxiety about ruining our friendship by letting her know I feel like that...
-
moort43407y
-
@moortuvivens already have, she said it was sweet and we're a lot closer, but she said she still couldn't trust anyone like that rn. So it was good. Thank you :)
-
moort43407y@DucksCanCode Sweet man!
Keep building the trust.
But don't go walking on eggshells. Be yourself.
Remember that you shouldn't do something you don't want to, only every now and then to be kind.
It will take some time for her to trust you, that doesn't mean you should be passive till she comes around.
Go forth young grashopper. -
SSDD47977y@DucksCanCode that's even MORE textbook. I.e. As she's single then there's no reason for you to be just friends, other than the fact that you've been friend zoned.
I just read a follow up. You made a move, she rejected you = friend zone.
"Not ready right now" is also a textbook let down. -
@SSDD yeah there is because there's a lot going off u don't know, and she said she'd like that but isn't ready yet, so it's not.
-
SSDD47977y@Duckscancode come back into this thread and let us know when she can't hang out as she is going on a date.
-
moort43407y@SSDD you can only put yourself in the friendzone.
As long as you keep making romantic gestures and asking her out then eventually a woman will sway and go out with you -
@SSDD bit difficult as OUR next date is tonight. I'm going hers to chill out with her again. Jesus, I know I'm a dark motherfucker but be positive xD
-
@moortuvivens I know, when she's ready I'm here, she knows that. Imma kill her ex first though.
-
@moortuvivens obviously, but I'm going to do it slowly and make sure the last thing he hears is his screaming
-
@moortuvivens aye but he destroyed her life. She doesn't deserve that, no fucking way, so I'm going to take everything from him.
-
moort43407y@DucksCanCode there is also the risk that you get caught, and then who is going to make her happy?
-
@demiko it's karma, he destroyed everything for an innocent sweet and brilliant woman who had everything, he doesn't deserve to live after that
-
@demiko I am doing but he cannot do that again, he can't be part of humanity. It's like a fat turd in the middle of your pizza. It shouldn't be there and should be removed.
-
moort43407y@DucksCanCode i like your attitude, but life just ain't fair.
Make her happy, it's better then taking revenge
Just make sure you live longer then she, then kill the guy after her death when losing you can't hurt her anymore -
@moortuvivens I can't imagine her dying before me honestly. I have no problem with death and murder etc, but imagining her dead isn't good.
-
moort43407y@DucksCanCode then imagine her dying from grief over losing you.
Dont do something stupid, just make her happy.
Im currently reading a book about emotions, acting on anger never has the desired effect. There is always a backlash -
@moortuvivens she's not going to lose me, I will fight fucking tooth and nail to make sure she's happy and that means killing him and coming back to her
-
moort43407y@DucksCanCode don't do this man, murder isn't the answer.
The asshole will probably be killed by his own stupidity anyway.
And if she finds out you killed him, and she will 100% sure, she will be scared of you.
No good can come from your plan. Absolutely zero. -
@moortuvivens I know, and thank you for that, but if I do it's both mine and her decision obviously
-
@jsframework9000 I'm both, hopeless romantic and a sociopathic madman. I love it xD
-
@CodeKek @SoulSkrix yea I'm obviously not going to post it if I'm actually going to kill someone, just fantasizing >:D
My head hurts so much right now...
So there's a beautiful hilarious woman next door and we're getting really close (friend close), but she's 26 and she's just messing with my head so much, wtf is going off???
