Barnes and noble is going out of business in a few years, the one near me is closing in october, but i guess the libraries have some

@programmingTrtl The c Programming language as suggested above.
After that
There's a book called Deep C Secrets or something like that. That is a beautiful book if you really want to get a deeper understanding of the language, it's strengths, and weaknesses.
Also there was a C puzzle book, but i think it's old so don't think you'll find it.
