Is exiting vim so hard?

Yeah, when you've never seen it before and some tutorial your using has you open it but doesn't bother to say how to use it. Pretty sure the first time I ran into it I ended to rebooting to box to get rid of the @#$%&$&% thing and swore never to use it again.

I'm past that now but still don't like it. Sublime Text FTW!

It is hard from a regular users perspective. Think about it, you've got a text editor and the only way you can quit is by pressing ESC :q Enter

that's hard man

the learning curve is steep. but just try completing vim_tutor. once you get the hang of it you will be the one wearing "hjkl" keys

@Mentalbrake not limited to vim editor. there are plugins for chrome, firefox, eclipse, ide's by idea and list goes on ....
vim mania is running wild :p
