Is it my crappy connection or the git bash for windows is just shite? It's taking forever to clone onto a repo using ssh.

    Either a slow processor or crappy connection. Git bash is good

    Yep i can clone 500~ mb repos in about 1min. Granted i have 150/100 internet too

    Git for windows has some performance issues, it may be your problem

    @filthyranter there are real plerformance issues on particular cases involving big histories, there's regularly big reports on the mailing list :)
