thekid89867yWhen I see things like this I always find myself asking. Why are they using Windows for this when Linux or BSD would be a more stable pick.

@sebastian some macdonalds use linux on those machines, others use windows. The application is exactly the same though.

hjk10157317y@thekid89 Sure I would go for a UNIX derivative too in a serving environment (yep pun intended) but I am afraid @sebastian is right. This only happened to me on hardware failure.

@Alt-Grrr support in the netherlands is really good. Not many problems and when there is one its fixed within an hour.

thekid89867y@sebastian I'm not saying that Linux will never have an issue or couldn't have the same amount of issue. My statement is that Unix has a history of being more stable and cheaper in systems like this.
