trying to format a document in Word / Libre Office,
text defaults to some condensed serif font,
any at-sign, "http" or "www" automatically generates a hyperlink in an ink-blue color,
formatting and alignment of lines or paragraphs causes unrelated other elements to change unless you make sure to use tables, tables, and nested tables everywhere like it's Netscape 2003

    And for some reason images will jump around above/below text, until you pick them up with your mouse and slightly reposition them. And if you try to select an area of text really carefully, Word will just take over and select an entire word ahead of your cursor. And autocorrect thinks there is no such word as 'into'. And when you open a Recent document from the list, it will also open a new document and give that focus (tip: right click and go to the document's location, then open from there). And...

    LibreOffice Writer seems to be especially buggy, maybe MS Word as well, and maybe those are features, but after using Google Docs online I can't handle those offline word processor applications anymore.

    Table layout for everything, okay, but why would adding or deleting a row change the font family of every other table cell (in other rows) back to the document's default (serif) font family - while keeping font size and font-weight?

    I must have been spoilt by using HTML and CSS all of those years. Those must be features, right? Some people must have requested that BS behavior for some useful requirement making their every-day office lives easier ... at least I hope that there is some usefulness in shipping that kind of software in ... 2023? or is it 1993?
