photo background is not a particularly good idea in my opinion. It makes sites heavy on traffic and RAM. You could reduce the quality a lot, but the problem is: why do you even need it?
If I wanted to look at photos, I go to 500px. If I want to read developer blogs, I read text, even if it's from incredibly ugly sites like blog.codinghorror.com -
Eevee! Unrelated, sorry.
I agree with @AndSoWeCode.. why do you need/want the image? It's a good image, it can still be incorporated somehow, but it'll either be difficult to overlay text that's equally visible across all the colors, or you'll have to decrease opacity to the point where you won't be able to see much. -
Remove the Windows 10 and then add something that does not fuck you at the next restart with broken updates.
Like Linux
Or even Windows 7 -
@inpothet
Is the image, as seen above with cracks in the wall, random toys and shitty lighting, the one you plan on putting on your personal website? -
@taylorviktorya I currently have it on my coming soon page and it works decently,

@Player2 @GinjaNinja kk will remove it and I was not going to claim the logo of course I would credit dfox
@darkfire000 I never had any problems with my windows 10 *knocks on wood* @GinjaNinja I will work on my lighting and the wall really needs to get painted xD
@AndSoWeCode I always compress my images so it uses as minimum or resources as I can -
@inpothet 900kb is still a whole lot really. If you really really wanna use it (I wouldn't), compress it to at most 100kb. You could use BPG format if you're willing to play with that.

@inpothet read more about it. It can't be an image, it should be in a canvas or something. Look at how the demos work, look for documentation.

@AndSoWeCode I looked but sadly I can fully implement it untill their is actual browser support and that will be never due to using the hevc encoding
-
@rootshell I think that has to do with mobile browsers because I don't have it on my desktop when making my window smaller
-
@badcopnodonuts @null-pointer it was more meant to get some idea or some tips for creating my site in a proper way and what to do and don't to do
