I would love the ability to have a PM feature. On one of my earlier posts a ranter offered to send me a copy of an ebook but theres no way to privately send my email address...

@mossycode That's why you have multiple emails. I've got one I rarely check, and I use it for bs/spam purposes.

Put your github on your profile, list your email in github

@mossycode you could use one of the throwaway email services, which allow you to delete the inbox.

@jhh2450 @dfox there should be official created channels for all popular platforms like slack, discord etc. it seems like everyone creates a discord here a slack there and then all the devs are split across random servers. (current state)

@JoshBent I think the problem with an "official" one ran by dfox would be a stretch. He's already got a plate full running and developing this app. But there should be one main one that's recognized as the official, instead of a bunch of random ones.

This has been a recurring proposal, I think someone said there were plans for it, bit it hasn't come through yet, as for external communities, there is a slack (I can add u with your email if you want), a riot one (Foss and Linux focused, I can also add you there with you riot.im account) a discord one (I haven't been there for a long time)

@jhh2450 That's exactly what I meant, no need to moderate it, just one that will be linked on the page, so most people collect there.
