Material Design on the web was not a good experience in my personal opinion. I see these spaces around the boxes that are too huge. The faded underlined input boxes are confusing, too. I'd rather prefer seeing a border all around the input box or something of similar representation than an underline with a distracting animation. Many also fail at placing the buttons with a transparent background on the right spot. I'd still prefer Semantic UI or something clean on my upcoming projects. To me, Material Design is really good for mobile interfaces though.

this may be a bit off topic, but I'm currently making my portfolio website, and I've been using Materialize on it to make it Material Design. I actually like Material a lot. 😅
If possible, could you please give a pointer if this looks bad?

PS. I know about the load time issue. I'm currently working on it.
PPS. I apologize if posting it here like this is wrong, but I really don't have much people giving constructive feedback 😅😅

@doomsday nice design, my 2 points are the domain name and why on earth do you want cPanel on the navigation menu!!!!!

@wasim Damn, I forgot to update the navbar. The cPanel thing ws originally supposed ot be shown only on my static IP machine, but that had problems, so I removed it. I guess I forgot to update the html file 😅😅
Edit: What about the domain name?

I don't think material design looks bad on the web either. It's just that we'll thought out material design websites are pretty rare excluding the ones by Google.
