    I mean, it's free right? But I can still get the OS or setup a VM for free and not have to use the Windows store...?

    Well, I've seen people run old Windows .exe's (win95 etc) in Wine via WSL (Bash on Windows) just to get them to work.

    Buy is a bad choice of words, it's a *free* installation of Ubuntu on windows subsystem.
    I currently use it on my home computers...

    @JMente I use Ubuntu but still I will install windows 10 and then I will buy it because Bloomberg recommends to buy this app.

    There is linux subsystem for windows based on shitbuntu, but it's buggy as fuck... It's actually better and faster to run virtual box...
