    With my definition of IDE, no, because to me, an IDE is mainly composed of running / compiling tool.

    It's not but you can make it close to one with extensions

    It's the same with sublime and atom

    In my opinion is something between a simple editor (like Notepad++) and an IDE. More than an editor, less than a complete IDE.

    Btw n++ has plugins too as far as I remember

    @juzles yep, but it's less a "plug and play", you need to spend more time to configure it

    I just call everything an IDE in the same way that you call trucks cars. You know what I mean, semantics don't concern me terribly.

    "Plug this script in your IDE and see if that fixes the bug."

    "You mean my code editor? </sass>"
