There was a client once that wanted fast loading time but a huge gallery with hundreds of pictures on one page.

I was loading the pictures asynchronously with js xD

@juzles u could use a infinite loading plugin and use 2 different pictures - display minified lq and when the user clicks on it, load the bigger picture ;) website would be faster as hell ^^
