The difference is, you are paying for one and not the other :/

Also the source code of one is available while the other isn't.

Also one is extemely configurable, while the other is not

Although these days when any OS crashes it is pretty much always due to nvidias drivers. (I havn't had a bluescreen or kernel panic in Windows or Linux that wasn't caused by nvidia drivers in over 5 years)

Probably because if linux crashes it was something you did stupid but if windows crashes it's likely you did nothing wrong

True. The former happens rarely while the latter very commonly, at least in my experience.

I don't really like windows just used to it but I never seem to face that kind of trouble especially on windows 7 & 10 the rest yes I had issues, not even at work say those bugs reported at tech websites and my colleague went crazy from them yet I faced non, not at home not at work. Though I made a macOS crash four times, but never Linux always holding up ever since I started using it in 2004 (Mandriva Linux was my first distro it ran perfectly fast on a Pentium 4 with 512MB RAM and 80GB HDD IDE)

    Linux:
System can't perform some action because A or B element is misconfigured, broken or missing.
Try typing "this" or check if you have the right permission to do that.
