People sound like they hate their jobs here. What's your favorite part of being a dev? I like the idea of turning an idea into a real thing

Favorite part? The money I get.

The satisfaction you get when your code finally works. And then again when the customer is happy with the product.
I also like the technical challenges, solving production problems and being able to learn about all kind of different businesses and their processes (and improving them).

I love my job just not most of the people.

In the end it is an amazing feeling to see something you work so hard on come to life
