I am in Nepal and most of the people here don't think functional programming is a best approach ( I personally think it is ) what's your situation?

Right tool for the job. I use r for statistical analysis, c++ for application development, Python for the bits in between.

OOP isn't always the best paradigm and so isn't functional, it depends on who is developing what.
If I never did anything OOP how could my work be better with that than with functional programming (that hypothetically is the paradigm I always followed)?
