@theKarlisK well, the only benefit I see in having a Samsung is their cameras. I mean... At least in specs they are lightyears ahead of htc/google. I wonder how they compare irl..

Samsung phones are overrated and overpriced.
You will get just as far for a cheaper price with OnePlus, Xiaomi or Huawei. -
@ReverendLovejoy my wife had a huawei p20 pro. "never ever" she said :)
- no proper app store [no google play store]
- always afraid to speak sensitive topics with a phone nearby [always listening]
- some companies explicitly distrust huawei, rejecting their soft install/connection using huawei
too many trust issues.
I'm concerned xiaomi could have similar problems. No? -
@ReverendLovejoy although the significantly longer battery life of xiaomi/huawei sure sounds tempting. 1-2 days of uptime with 15min charge. daamn

@netikras Yes, it depends. I forgot that Google Play store isn't available more.
In addition, if I worked in a high security/confidentiality environment I don't think I would trust anything but an iPhone with minimal apps installed.

completely selfish post/question.
I'm in search of an Android smartphone. I'm focusing on the camera, storage size, battery life and internet. Budget: ~500€.
My superficial search spotted Galaxy S20 ultra / Note 20 ultra.
Any feedback?
Any recommendations?
I think it's time to replace my trusty S7edge as it started turning off randomly. Damn, I like my S7e!
P.S. I wonder if the S23 ultra battery really holds that long... :) Too bad it's >1k€
