I have finally done a crash course on ChatGPT. And what I discovered was that, it is basically Google with straight forward answers. It is a handy tool to use and get familiar with.

I tried to use it for once to help me on a function...

Ooh boy, this was worse than working with an intern...

For each code it gave me, I had to tell the rules.

It tried to do an ExecuteScalar with an sql as parameter...

It failed twice to get the total (It just made 2 variables and incremented both at the same time)

It optimized a small part of the code. But damn wtf

Straight forward answer that can simply be outright wrong on the facts it serves you. A reminder that coherent sentences can be factually incorrect still as many people using ChatGPT seem to forget that 😁

It's like a father that tells you how something works with his very thin knowledge of how something actually works.
