Amazons are a group of female warriors in Greek mythology. Wikipedia lists a bunch of names but those two aren't among them.

Why should it be bad that these are woman names
I didn't thought about that until you wrote that, why bother which gender a name has? -
Ignisor8512y@jackpearce no offense meant. I mentioned it just to emphasize on how similar those names are.
If it was "Arthur" and "Arnold", for example, it wouldn't be better. -
@horus we need to program an app where you find people that you based on personality/believe/morals etc. would hate and call it Aphrodite
Like an opposite of tinder -
MM8312272ySeems to be Amazon policy to give everything a stupid, unhelpful name. You need to look up pretty much every term you come across. A genuine time sink, considering that they’re so ubiquitous now.

dotnope312yI easily trip over stuff like this. In LA there are the parallel streets Veteran Ave, Military Ave and Federal Ave, all within a half mile. They are randomly scattered among streets that are all surnames, like Bentley and Purdue. I have never been able to remember which one goes where.

Amazon Web Services has the worst naming among clouds.
They have "Aurora" and "Athena". Both services relate to data. Both are woman's names. Both start with "A".
Amazon, what's wrong with you?
