Me: (oh... I was going to say that we need to cut back... But ok)
PM: I need better visibility into what everyone is doing.
Me: (so you wanna micromanage. Got it...)

you _should have_ said so.

talk with your PM about it ASAP.

they'll think you agree with them otherwise.

but if you openly explain your position, they just might refrain from increasing the number of meetings.
