Why do Twitter, fb and Instagram need to force accounts to view public content. Like i only want to check in on som ppl without having the app or an account. This move only gets me further away from using their website/apps

    I still have no Twitter account for this reason, creating one now seems like such a daunting task :P

    mostly due to the monetization model that they have when you pay to boost your page, they suggest it to other people at least fb does it this way

    @jonas-w somehow they manage to make the "fake" client websites look better than the real ones (im surprised)

    @joewilliams007 bibliogram for instagram, most of the instances can't get new posts but there exists a list of instances which still can get new posts from instagram

    @jonas-w does Instagram really track how long you look at posts? I mean it seems likely since tiktok does aswell and ytb kinda ..

    @Nanos well if its longer then a certain time it could just ignore it. Like a 1-2 min limit

    Because they're more powerful than the EU and they want to show that.
