In my experience custom roms are always worse. Something never works, most of the time it fucks up the cam or the GPS. Just root it and install a tool to delete pre-installed apps. Keep in mind that if you root it you probably can't use secure apps anymore. E.g. My ebanking doesn't work.

i already installed a custom rom (sixperience) but i'm experiencing some weird behavior with my storage manager (suddenly crashing and stuff). also i'm no friend of the default ui ;) but thx for your input
