Well... I recorded my boss's talk at a small tech conference. Everything went just fine until I tried downloading the video from my camera.
It turns out under-priced 32 GB SD cards from eBay may actually only contain 256 MB worth of memory, while quite happily accepting recordings that are far larger than that.
