What's your opinion on using personal devices at work (especially for Android/iOS dev)? Using emulators is never really a practical solution in most cases.

I don't work in the mobile team at my work but same dept. They use a combination of testing emulators, physical testing devices provided by work, as well as dogfeeding to the product owners.

I'm the only dev at work and I just happened to own an iPhone 5 when I started working, and also got an Android phone from a scholarship awhile back, eventually I got my OnePlus 3, but yeah I still use my phones to this day for app development at work.

Since a lot of people at work have company phones I'm assuming they would have given me one, but then again they're stingy, so I wouldn't know lol.

Half the time that I'm on my phone though is now spent on devRant​ lol, despite that Android app is nearly done!
