Got to thinking about how good Minecraft modders have become

Modders as a whole are a different type of beast. I still marvel at the shit that rom hackers have made, these dudes are a different kind of monster.

Just thinking about the expansions and dlcs for Skyrim, shit started as mods, modders created their own scripting language for it, made the additions, Bethesda said "aye mane this shit tight af, come work for us" and boom, success.

one very big Japanese company could sure take a note from this.....

Want a talented programmer but there are none in your area? Look at someone who just modded your software and hire them.

I bet Terraria's dev team is having the time of their lives after hiring the guy who pretty much founded both Modded Minecraft and Terraria.
