I got 3 monitors and honestly I love it. Code in one monitor, Live Reload Browser on another monitor and 3rd monitor for devTool.

donuts232479y@error503 I don't need a Live Reload Browser, I have an app for that. And what's so urgent you need to see updates immediately? donuts232479y@error503 I don't need a Live Reload Browser, I have an app for that. And what's so urgent you need to see updates immediately?

One for VS, one for SSMS, one split for reference/research in chrome & project documentation. Monitors are cheaper than the time I'd waste trying to restore/minimize windows while bouncing around between different documents and components.

Sometimes you got to have multiple windows open to resolve an issue quickly and being able to look at all of the screens at the same really helps. Sometimes when learning something online I watch on one screen and practice on another.

1 for unity, 1 for visual studio, or 1 for game, 1 for video streaming. 3rd screen dedicated to porn obviously.

f03n1x64619yI use 2 monitors when working on my VR game (would be 3 but HDMI port is being used by the vive) one screen for the main window and one for the game screen. If it was three it'd be one for the main one for the game screen and one for visual studio f03n1x64619yI use 2 monitors when working on my VR game (would be 3 but HDMI port is being used by the vive) one screen for the main window and one for the game screen. This will be the only place I where I will use a multi monitor setup.

multitasking is a myth
i don't like multiple monitors
more monitors more distractions
