tkglaser1628yTime to switch to paper trail mode then. I'd send him everything he agrees to in an email "just to confirm" but really so I have something in writing.

Had to go paper-route early on in my current role. My boss is smart, capable, reasonable, but doubles as another dev. Dude is so busy he can't keep track of what features we've discussed.
Also been using my whiteboard as first-level documentation
"This is your hand writing <bosses' name>" -
aquabib3888y@tkglaser @mhudson didn't feel the need to do that since there were 3 other people who listened to the discussion but apparently were not paying attention.. 😅 so yes indeed, paper trail mode here i come!
