    Hm...

    Technically UEFI fulfills the role of an OS.

    I'd really wish core boot would be more funded / supported by major corporations.

    Then Linux would truly be an init for every os and the (security-) nightmare that UEFI is would be dead.

    Plus X86 would be more open to much needed overhauls.
