For me I was so amazed by the fact I could control computers it was pretty much a morning til night thing every day for a month (which happened to be my study leave for exams I didn't want to revise for but hey! I landed a job in dev so

Yeah something similar happened with me too. As a teenager I started by messing around with gta modding because I ran out of things to do in the game and I didn't have any other game and then basic scripting on windows xp. Just using print statement was fascinating enough for me.

Then wanted to learn more so enrolled in the computer science degree.
