Shazam is definitely cool asf but to me the pixel feature that detects what song is playing without even having to open shazam is a bit cooler.

(Didn't try it there) but my initial guess would be that its constantly listening? Where what impresses me with Shazam is how fast it finds the song without the "head start". ..maybe it's constantly listening too😆

I like it. It's one of those few solutions truly rooted in Mathematics. Their original paper (based on using audio finger printing (basically filtering using orthogonal frequency bands)) is one of my favorite papers.
