Professor wants to copy code on his laptop (with beamer)
-selects code
-moves mouse-pointer to top left
-clicks on 'file'
-clicks on 'copy'
-moves cursor to desired destination
-moves mouse-pointer to top left
-clicks on 'file'
-clicks on 'paste'

Man why do have to show us how shitty your trackpad is and bother us with 5min of copying, when you could use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V?

    Show him how it's done. If he is a good professor he/she likes to learn ;)

    @karlipic He knows how it is done but he is very old and refuses to use the shortcuts. Also if you present a java program to him it must be compiled and executed via command line. It is not allowed to show it in the IDE.

    @ChibangLW ever considered asking him *why* he refuses to use them?

    And tbf: I get why he doesn't allow you to use the IDE for building and executing. He probably wants you to get used to the CLI a bit

    @Krokoklemme
    Of course it is good to get used to the CLI and most courses start with learning CLI but in my opinion after two years it should be allowed to use what you prefer.
