npm i, who has the time to type all that

`sudo apt-purge npm` is my preference.

Or? Both. At least, noone has to assign their own alias if 5 keystrokes isn't a big waste to them, and you don't ever forget what "npm i" does, because in any half-decent docs and READMEs it would be preceded by explanation.
