Team member knows x better than me?

No fucking way am I gonna ask them to do it. Even if I have to learn the whole damn thingamajig from scratch. Coffee and some Halo OST are all I need, baby!

(In fairness to myself, said teammate is a bit of a hijacker when it comes to helping...)

    You have "team work" written all over you.

    @darksideplease would you mind elaborating on that a bit?

    @sysm9 of course!
    I wouldn't recommend you to tell this your boss, because this behaviour is never appreciated in employees. What you described is a standard example HR people describe as not team(work) oriented. The company wants to have efficient employees and does not want to hear that any of them are wasting company time and money.
    Just do not mention it when you apply for another job.

    @darksideplease That's tremendously helpful, thank you. I'm actually a student right now, and most of my actual team work comes from the projects and so on that we do, so I'm not worried about HR yet. I'll keep your advice in mind though. Thanks again! :)
