I don't have a dev job yet, so I don't get the "luxury" of tough dev days.

Sure you do.

You may not have hard deadlines to meet, but we all have those days/weeks/months/years where we just spin our wheels and get nowhere.

To ignore this minimizes the impacts it has to our mental health.

I'm sure plenty of fresh devs have lost sleep while trying to figure out a solution.
