Can't say I'm proud of it but I've done similar things before. Only once with basically no risk and only because the dataset was specific and could not be copied without breaking ongoing work.
Debugging issues on pro was more common though. Mostly had to do with caching and again issue with single account or something (for security reasons cannot be copied)
