I feel the same way about my gf.

It's called stockholm syndrome and I think everyone who needed to use it for front end scripting knows this phenomenon. People who use it with node server side though... strange people ^^.

1. Its dynamically binded variables can blow one's mind
2. Also the unique prototype concept is weird
3. Inconsistency between static/instance methods/attributes
However 2,3 were solved in ECMA 2015

It's not the best but not much different from a C-ish python in my opinion
