Jira gets a bad rep. It's not that bad.

And here I am, using neither

Never heard of clickup.
My opinion of Jira changed when having a self hosted version.
I used to think "yeah it is flexible and you need to set it up properly or it doesn't work at all. But no matter what it's bloated and clunky."
Properly self hosted makes everything instant and the clunk is mostly gone (there are still 4 step forms etc).

Hey I don’t know about that ClipUp that you are talking about, but nothing is worse than Jira. I simply can’t imagine such a thing can exist.
