I am a student but I make Android apps and have them up on Play Store (only 2 different apps), and they bring in little money. 😅

    @CozyPlanes oh, I see. You can start making some money with your apps to show your dad that you can make good use of the dev accounts ;)

    @BrianValente i earned 4 dollars in a month by admob. Is that fair?

    @CozyPlanes
    4$ is good for a first month earning.

    Good luck.
    One of my app which is up on Play Store and doing well, was released back in February last year (not on Play Store but some other sites). I was able to get max daily users of about 50. In November last year when I got the GP dev account and published it on Play Store, the daily user count increased to 100, then 200, then 300-400. Now it does about 600 on weekdays and reaches about 1k on weekends.
    TLDR; With your app up on Play Store, and wilth just the right amount of promotion, your app will get the amount of response it deserves. :)

    @Haxk20 try to avoid breaking phones like me and you're ready to go!

    What apps are those?

    That's a good start. How do you promote your apps?

    That's awesome. Sharing your work on Google Play is definitely worth doing and even better when you can make some money out of it.
    However charging money comes with the obvious tax/accounting dance and makes it hard for normal people to profit from their free time work.

    Utility app. Especially for people who likes to use custom ROMs.

    I earlier used to post in relevant FB groups, then started posting in relevant G+ communities. I only posted them when I made a major update.
