Why does Alarmy app on Android occupy 360 MB of storage space? 🤔

    Probably because it's shittily written or packaged.

    could also contain 4k icons just in case someone runs Android on their 4k-8k monitor setup at home

    but probably it just uses really shitty dependency packages that are all packaged with it. Maybe it's an electron app because some junior intern at google only knows javascript. who the fuck knows :c

    Why does Android 11 needs 2 GB ram while Android 4 needed 64mb?
    Why does the game that took 22mb in my old android phone now needs over 300mb?
    Thats very good questions... Almost as if requirements go up to make us buy new phones....
    Same reason we can't just trade phone batteries when they die....
    PS I'm very sad about my previous phone... Hell of a machine... Battery is dying and it's a pure waste... Still good as a web server tough :p

    An alarm packed with Chinese spyware.

    Why does an alarm need to know every running process on your device 🤷‍♂️

    @C0D4 and funny part...
    If you do not allow all the permitions the app won't open...
    I recently tried to install one (dont remember which but cause I bought a new phone I had to reinstall everything) and it had a ton of requirements just for a simple function... Even permitions to make calls, send sms...
    Well... One less app in my phone :p still can't go below 200

    ... did you know there's alarm already built in the system, btw?
    why would u need to install another?

    @Midnight-shcode it is because the built-in alarm only rings for 1 minute; and sometimes 1 minute is not enough for me to wake up; so I can accidentally fall asleep after 1 minute
