    I feel you man

When a lot of shit can be avoided by proper validation and a better logic...But hey can't just blame em when they're pressurized to get work done quicker

Feel you! I'm all three at the same time and I sometimes catch myself doing some shady non-secure stuff and then I'm like:
Me to me: that's really insecure, you should not do that....
Me to me: Yeah.... i know :/. I'll fix that later.
Me to me: Nope, now or gtfo.

I'm both, and I hate other devs as much as I hate users. SSL privkeys do not belong in the git repo, not even encrypted ones if you're also going to put the password in the readme, not even if it's a private repo if you plan on ever being able to give a contractor/outsourcer/junior access.
