hjk10157313yYep agree with @Fast-Nop it loads super fast on my PC with Linux. Think IO is the bottleneck here not raw CPU

Loads almost equally or even slightly faster on my Linux machine with 5400RPM HDD

@prodigy214 if you are used to blender on Windows 🪟, don’t try changing to Mac just for the speed. All the navigation changes are not worth it. I still have no idea how to delete an object on the Mac version

@JsonBoa You might want to educate yourself on some timelines - on particular of COBOL, x86, and even the age of ARM.
The one thing you're conveniently leaving out is which of these chips has the 5nm TSMC goodness, and that doesn't have to do shit with the architecture. -
hjk10157313y@JsonBoa you obviously don't know what you are taking about. Buyers validation is fine but if you want to come here and talk CPU architecture than you better know the difference between microcode, assembly and a high level programming language.
So while it is true that the microcode of modern CISC has to account for backwards compatible instructions and that prevents some prediction magic this has nothing to do with the nonsense you just put out there.
