I always get some enjoyment when I see an ad screen rebooting or in BSOD or another unintended state.

Do you want to add a windows update to that and make a meal?

I really don't understand why they use Windows for those things. Not saying that Linux is perfect or nothing can go wrong. I've seen edge popups upgrade popups tons of reboots.
XP and 2000 where more suited than modern windows.

I can have a fully up to date Linux system managed remotely with about a reboot a year and no popups

with extra sauce.

@hjk101 corp demands Windows on ALL systems to keep ITs workflow the same.
